Program Calendar for RN Refresher courses (FENS and RN Refresher)

While the RN Refresher program is an online course, there are deadlines for completion of each of the 6 modules, exams, and skills check-off. In general, each student will have approximately 2 weeks to complete each module. The deadlines will be made at the discretion of the Instructor. Students are encouraged to keep in steady communication with the Instructor throughout the course. Upon completion of Modules 1 and 2 and the skills check-off, the student will then begin the clinical component. GHSI understands that not all students will be located in the DFW area; therefore, students will be allowed to complete their clinical hours (120 hours for FENS students and 80 hours for RN Refresher students) in their home town (must be in Texas) as long as the school is able to contract with a facility in that location.
